The FIBARO Door/Window Sensor 2 is a battery-powered reed sensor that is compatible with Z-Wave. It combines the functions of two devices (reed and temperature sensors) into one easy-to-use product. The sensor can be used to monitor whether a door, window, window blind, or garage gate is open or closed. Additionally, the fixed integrated temperature sensor measures the temperature where the sensor is installed and reports it to the Z-Wave control center.The product consists of two parts: one part is mounted on the moving part of the window or door while another part goes on its frame. The device needs to be included in a Z-Wave network by using a remote control or any other Z-Wave controller.
