In and around a house you have many different light sources. In the bedrooms you usually have ceiling lamps, desk lamps or wall lamps for bedtime story reading. In the bathroom most people have spots and if you need extra light, there are also mirrors with a built-in light source. In the living room and above the dining table there is often a pendant and if you need extra light it is not uncommon to have a floor lamp.
Built-in spots are smart as they can be tugged away in the ceiling. Just as with a regular lamp, you can also replace the bulb in most lamp spots. If you need a new bulb for your spots, remember to look at whether you need a GU10 or GU5.3 model. On some models, it is not possible to replace the light source in the lamp spot. This is either because the spot has a very compact design or because the spot is designed for outdoor use. Models designed for outdoor use are better protected against wind and weather. If your outdoor spot will not be affected by rain, you can essentially use an indoor spot instead.
