What is a Plasmex® filter?; When you do not have the option of venting outdoors, or simply want to save on the heating bill, you can now install a THERMEX Plasmex® filter for your container.; When the air passes through a Plasmex® filter, the air particles are affected with an electronic charge so that they are more easily captured by the carbon filter part of the Plasmex® filter.; This means that the air returning to the kitchen is 96.5% clean of mados. This makes the Plasmex® filter twice as effective as a regular carbon filter.; The lifetime of a Plasmex® filter is expected to be up to 10 years. It is approx. 20 times longer than a regular carbon filter.
