You wake up in a damp, dark room. All you have is a brass lighter. You don't know how you got there, but one thing's for sure: danger lurks around the corner. Only your eagle eyes and quick wits can get you out safely.
Find a way out:
This isn't a world for children, but with a little imagination, you can use your diminutive size to manipulate things to your advantage. Make your way through drawers and shelves, and reach passages that adults can't. This will give you some respite... or at least for a while.
Avoid the residents:
The residents of The Maw only need the children for one thing—and that's far from fun. If you don't want to get caught, it's best to stay hidden and be careful around them. In some cases, you can distract them with something long enough to get away safely. Be careful: if you make too much noise, they'll definitely find you.
Run for your life:
Sometimes you have no choice but to run. If you can reach a place where its inhabitants can't, you might have a chance of survival.
