The GARDENA smart Sensor is simply planted into the ground next to a plant and measures the soil moisture and the soil temperature. The GARDENA smart Sensor represents the ideal extension to the GARDENA smart system Start Set. A GARDENA smart gateway is needed to use the product. This gateway is included in all GARDENA smart system start sets.

The compact sensor can be positioned flexibly, supplies precise measurement data wirelessly via radio to the GARDENA smart Gateway and, by using 2 AA batteries (not included), allows operation over a complete garden season.
