Revopoint MetroX Advanced 3D Scanner

The Revopoint MetroX advanced scanner is engineered for high-precision 3D digitization, combining a hybrid multiband laser system with full-field structured blue light to achieve single-frame precision down to 0.01 mm and overall accuracy of 0.03 mm. Four scanning modes allow accurate capture of matte, reflective, dark or complex geometries without the need for matting spray. Its scanning speeds—up to 800,000 points per second in laser mode and 7,000,000 points per second in structured-light mode—support demanding engineering workflows. The flexible capture range from 160 × 70 mm to 320 × 215 mm accommodates small and medium-sized objects used in design studios, manufacturing and prototyping environments.

Automation features include an automatic dual-axis turntable for hands-free scanning, real-time controls for exposure and zoom, and an integrated RGB HD camera for faithful color reproduction. Revo Scan software provides an end-to-end workflow for parameter setup, point cloud cleaning, editing, merging segments and exporting in PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF and FBX formats. Calibration tools ensure consistently accurate measurement outputs across sessions.

The MetroX excels in professional applications such as reverse engineering, scan-to-CAD workflows, quality control inspections, additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping. Its compact 508 g construction and supplied transport case make it suitable for mobile and desktop workspaces alike. The advanced version includes a Marker Block Kit, reducing the number of markers needed for featureless or laser-based scans and improving setup efficiency across varied scanning tasks.
