The Philio Multi Sensor is a device that combines several sensors in one package, including a Z-Wave door/window sensor, motion sensor, luminescence sensor, and temperature sensor. This makes it useful for both security and home automation purposes. For example, it can be used to trigger an alarm when motion is detected or to automatically turn lights on/off at night. The product consists of two parts - the detector and the magnet - which are mounted on the moving part of a window or door and its frame respectively. Note that the illumination sensor may not work with certain systems yet. When securely included in a network, this device can send and receive secure commands through single or double clicks of its rocker button using configuration parameters and association groups.
