Freewell Variable ND/CPL Filter Kit Brandon Li 77mm

The Freewell Brandon Li Basic Kit 77mm is a magnetic filter system for photography and videography in changing lighting conditions. Its VND/CPL module combines variable neutral density filtration with a circular polarizing filter, allowing exposure and polarization to be adjusted independently. The VND filter provides 1–5 stops of light reduction, while the CPL helps reduce reflections from water, glass and other non-metallic surfaces.

The included ND32 filter extends the light reduction range to 6–10 stops when attached to the VND/CPL module. It can also be mounted directly on the base ring and used as a standalone filter with fixed light reduction. This allows the set to be configured for different lighting conditions without carrying several separate ND filters.

The magnetic mounting system enables quick attachment to the base ring. A short twist engages the mechanical lock to secure the filter during use, making it practical to change configurations while filming. The optical system features 18-layer coatings and True Color technology with an Anti-Color Shift layer to help reduce reflections and unwanted colour shifts. A grey card integrated into the magnetic front cap can be used to check white balance.

The set includes the VND 1–5/CPL module, ND32 filter, 77mm base ring, magnetic front cap, 77mm rear cap, filter case, clip accessory and cleaning cloth.
