AXAGON SuperSpeed USB-C 10 Gbps Raw Box for NVMe & SATA M.2 SSD

The universal external AXAGON EEM2-SB2 RAW Box with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is designed for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSDs. The double-sided USB-C connector ensures a reliable connection. The package includes both a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter, allowing you to connect the box to any available USB port on your notebook.

The second-generation high-speed USB interface allows you to enjoy the full speed of modern M.2 SSDs. With transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s via the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, this external M.2 enclosure supports advanced features such as UASP, TRIM, and S.M.A.R.T. for monitoring the drive’s health. It also supports standby mode when idle.

A unique feature of this box, thanks to the new chipset, is its compatibility with both M.2 NVMe and SATA drives. You don’t have to worry about which type of M.2 drive you install. It supports SSD lengths of 42, 60, and 80 mm, in both single- and double-sided formats, with no capacity limits.

The screwless design allows for easy assembly and quick replacement of M.2 SSDs, making it ideal for data migration, testing, or drive swapping.

The outer metal body in elegant black features a brushed finish that resists fingerprints. The rounded design ensures comfortable handling, while the aluminium construction, ventilation holes, and thermal pad provide excellent cooling for your SSD. This extends the drive’s lifespan and helps prevent performance slowdown due to thermal throttling.

By inserting an M.2 SSD, you can easily create a compact, high-speed external drive compatible with computers, notebooks, mobile phones, and tablets.
