Habotest HT609PRO Gas Leak Detector
The Habotest HT609PRO is a compact, fast gas leak detector ideal for home, workshop and professional use. It senses many gases — methane, propane, butane, carbon monoxide, ammonia, acetylene, acetone, benzene, hydrogen, ethanol, kerosene and solvents — and shows concentration in PPM (50–1000 PPM) with a color LCD and bar graph. A 1.5 m telescopic probe lets you reach difficult spots, while the dual alarm (sound + light) and three-stage sensitivity provide clear warnings. Fast 2–5 s response, ergonomic housing, automatic shut-off and included 3×AAA batteries and storage pouch make it ready to use.
Operation is straightforward: the vivid color LCD displays real-time PPM values together with an intuitive bar graph; the unit sounds an audible alarm and flashes a light when preset thresholds are exceeded. A 1.5 m telescopic, flexible probe enables inspection of tight or hard-to-reach places (behind appliances, ducts, under vehicles) without dismantling equipment. Three sensitivity levels let you tune detection for quiet environments or noisy, gas-rich areas; the audible alarm triggers progressively from the second to the eighth bar on the display depending on sensitivity.
Built for jobsite durability, the HT609PRO features an ergonomic, compact housing, automatic shut-off after inactivity to save battery, and a low-battery indicator. Power comes from three AAA batteries (included), and the kit includes a protective storage pouch. Typical uses include checking domestic gas lines and fittings, inspecting LPG systems in vehicles, troubleshooting HVAC and boiler installations, and routine safety checks in workshops and laboratories. If the detector signals a high reading, ventilate the area immediately, avoid ignition sources and follow local safety procedures for gas leaks.
