Product description: VIKING Holder M35PS for hole saws Ø32-250 mm with 10 mm shaft and short HSS drill bit. The choice of appropriate drill bit for the hole saw holder depends on the type of hole saw (bi-metal or Carbide Cut or 3TPI) being used and the material being cut. Drill bits come in two different lengths (short or long) and two different qualities (HSS or HM). HSS (High Speed Steel) drill bits are used for steel, wood, plaster, etc. HSS drill bits are used for both Bi-metal and CC Carbide Cut multi-purpose hole saws. HM (Hard Metal equipped) drill bits are used for masonry/leca. HM drill bits are used together with Carbide Cut hole saws and VIKING 3TPI black hole saws.Short drills are used for bi-metal hole saws and small hard metal toothed holesaws (VIKING 3TPI black holesaw), as they have a smaller cutting depth (38mm).
