The Pimax Lighthouse Faceplate is an add-on for the Pimax Crystal series VR headsets that enables high-precision external tracking. Instead of relying on the headset's built-in cameras, external base stations (lighthouses) are used for greater accuracy and a wider range of motion. This results in a smoother and more immersive VR experience, especially during fast-paced action or games that require pinpoint controller tracking. The Lighthouse Faceplate integrates perfectly with the existing SteamVR setup, eliminating the need to replace the current base stations and controllers. The Lighthouse Faceplate is compatible with Pimax Crystal, Crystal Sim and Pimax Crystal Light.
This faceplate utilizes the bottom USB-C port for a secure, high-speed connection, enabling full compatibility with SteamVR Base Station tracking. By integrating into your existing lighthouse ecosystem, you gain access to unrivaled sub-millimeter accuracy and superior controller coverage.
This accessory is only compatible with Crystal Light headsets whose 7th and 8th serial number digits of SN are P2 (e.g., P33000P20).
It is not compatible with headsets whose 7th and 8th digits are P1 (e.g., P33000P11).
