The IMOU VD1 Smart Door Viewer is designed to provide reliable entrance monitoring with a combination of a 5 MP camera, integrated 4.3-inch color display, and smart remote access. The high-resolution sensor captures detailed footage at 2880 × 1620, making it easier to identify visitors and activity outside your door. Its 149° diagonal viewing angle minimizes blind spots, while the 8x digital zoom allows closer inspection of important details.

Always-on Video (AOV) technology continuously monitors the entrance, creating time-lapse recordings and automatically saving full video clips when motion or human activity is detected. IMOU SENSE human detection helps distinguish people from other movement, reducing unnecessary alerts and improving notification accuracy.

The built-in display provides an immediate view of visitors without requiring a smartphone, while the IMOU app for iOS and Android enables live viewing, remote access, and management from virtually anywhere. Privacy masking allows selected areas to be excluded from recording, helping protect neighboring properties.

Dual-band Wi-Fi support on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks provides stable wireless connectivity, and recordings can be stored locally on a microSD card with capacities up to 512 GB. Powered by a rechargeable 4800 mAh battery, the VD1 delivers extended operating time with minimal charging requirements. Compatible with doors 35–102 mm thick and peephole openings between 14 and 26 mm, it offers straightforward installation across a wide range of residential doors.
