The excellent Joie Every Stage R129 car seat works both as a car seat suitable for children under 3 years old and as a seat belt seat suitable for school-age children. The unique 2-in-1 function allows your little one to travel rear-facing, supported by the seat's own 5-point harness like in any car seat, but when your child grows out of the seat, the seat converts into a seat belt seat suitable for school-age children. In this case, the harness is removed, the seat is turned forward-facing and the headrest is raised to provide more space on the sides and in the head area. Color-coded belt guides make it easy to install the seat in the car and fasten the seat belt to the child when traveling forward-facing.
