Ancel L8000 Diagnostic Leak Detector for Automotive Systems
The ANCEL L8000 is a professional automotive leak detector with dedicated low-pressure EVAP and high-pressure Turbo modes. Its built-in pump generates up to 20 psi, while smoke output of 6–8 l/min supports leak detection in various vehicle systems. The device performs both smoke tests and pressure drop tests, with adjustable test pressure and duration. Professional Mode provides preset configurations for common systems, while Custom Mode allows manual pressure adjustment. A 4-inch colour LCD displays key test parameters, and the built-in self-test checks the detector’s own airtightness. The L8000 can be used for intake, exhaust, vacuum, turbocharger and EVAP systems, as well as hoses and gaskets.
Both smoke tests and pressure drop tests are available, with the test pressure and duration adjustable according to the application. Professional Mode provides preset configurations for common systems, while Custom Mode allows the user to set the test pressure manually. The 4-inch colour LCD displays the relevant test parameters during operation.
The L8000 can be used to detect leaks in intake and exhaust systems, vacuum systems, turbochargers, hoses, gaskets and EVAP systems, as well as under-dashboard areas. A built-in self-test checks the detector’s own airtightness, while the settings menu allows the language, pressure unit and audible alert to be configured.
